Horses are “mindful creatures.” When we watch them closely, and we are not endowed with a tin ear, we can hear how they think.

Men can be good ' horse whisperers', but dogs, on their part, are able to be outstanding "man whisperers ".

A dog can be a ‘significant other’ as it infuses a magic fluid stream of oxytocin, trust, ease, and patience; and transforms a man’s life into a paradise of complicity and mutual sympathy.

What is more, it can arouse an instinct of playfulness that many people have lost since their young age, and that can put things into new perspectives.

Young people may perhaps be less receptive or needy because the “wide world’ ‘out there” might be eagerly waiting for them. As the future is bright and time is limited, they want to conquer it.

However, if a gap in the schedule makes it possible, adoption could be taken into consideration as a substitute for a human pet.
